CHROMIUM is a mineral. It is called an "essential trace element" because very small amounts of chromium are necessary for human health. Chromium is used for improving blood sugar control in people with pre-diabetes, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, and high blood sugar due to taking steroids and HIV treatments. Some people use chromium for body conditioning including weight loss, increasing muscle, and decreasing body fat. Chromium is also used to improve athletic performance, to increase energy, and to prevent age-related mental decline. It is an essential part of the glucose tolerance factor (GTF) which helps regulate the metabolism of carbohydrates and proper function of insulin in the body. CHROMIUM PICOLINATEis thought to promote fat burning, increase lean muscle mass and suppress appetite.

LIPOTROPIC COMPLEX

Lipotropic compounds help break down and metabolize fat in the body.

CHOLINE BITARTRATE similar to the B vitamins. It can be made in the liver. It is also found in foods such as liver, muscle meats, fish, nuts, beans, peas, spinach, wheat germ, and eggs.

Choline helps in the proper utilization of fat in the body and is therefore known to contribute to weight loss. It works as an emulsifier mixing water and fat together, helping the blood to carry fat through the body so it doesn't deposit on arterial walls. Athletes use it for bodybuilding and delaying fatigue in endurance sports.

METHIONINEan essential amino acid… essential meaning that your body cannot produce it, so it must be supplied by diet or vitamin supplementation. Your body uses methionine to make proteins and other amino acids, which help in weight loss, sugar metabolism, and normal function of your immune system. Methionine also helps in weight loss by controlling blood sugar levels. Controlling blood sugar levels can lead to weight loss because craving for sweet foods is lessened. Methionine also helps you eat less by helping the body use nutrients more efficiently.

L-CARTINITINE TARTRATE an amino acid that is synthesized in the liver and kidneys—and concentrated in the body’s most metabolically active organs: the brain, heart, and muscles. Its primary job is to transport fatty acids into the mitochondria, where they’re burned for energy. Recent studies show that when older people take this safe, inexpensive nutritional supplement, it boosts physical and mental energy and endurance, reduces fatigue and muscle loss, and enhances cognitive function.

BETAINE HCL an organic component also known as hydrochloric acid.  HCL supplements can be an effective way to gain muscle mass, while simultaneously losing fat. Better digestion and absorption of protein and nutrients will also support protein synthesis and the development of lean body mass, while helping us avoid deficiencies that can cause poor health and hinder weight loss attempts. A number of studies have concluded that betaine supplementation boosts strength and power (see, for example: Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition, July 2010).

LECITHINa lipid that is comprised of choline and inositol, is one of the main components within the cell membranes. It has many different functions not the least of which is controlling the amount of nutrients that flow in and out of the cells. Research indicates that lecithin successfully increased HDL cholesterol and lowered LDL cholesterol in both human and animal subjects. Lecithin occurs naturally in soya beans, yeast, peanuts, fish and the yolks of eggs.

THERMOGENIC HERBS

A thermogenic product is used to increase the heat in the body and in turn affect the body's metabolism and ability to burn fat.

Peppermint, lemon verbena, cinnamon, chamomile, ginger, pericarpium citri, licorice root, and chicory.

HERBAL ENERGY FACTORS

Guarana, yerba mate, gotu kola, saw palmetto, sarsaparilla, aspidosperma bark, ginger root, cayenne pepper, white willow bark, ginkgo biloba, hawthorn berry, curcumin, green tea, and silymarin.
